1. No god-modding! (This means no controlling someone else’s character who is not your own. If you need someone else’s character to act a certain way, discuss it off the dash.) We don’t want our own will taken away, why take one of a character!
   
2. Must be 16 years or older to join.
3. If there is OOC drama, we are going to try our very best to keep it OUT of the main chat. We understand it’s difficult to do so sometimes but there are others that will be uncomfortable under stressful situations. These things should always stay private. Also, no ooc drama on the dash. It will not be tolerated. If an issue gets out of hand, bring it up with the moderators and we shall help as best as we can.
4. Try your best to be active: Everyone has lives and the RP should not be anyone’s main priority, but if anyone needs time away, please let us know. After a week of inactivity without notice, we will be moving your characters to ‘Open’ and you’re welcome to audition again when you come back.
5. Every person is allowed up to three characters in the role play. However, if one wishes for more it must be approved by 2 of 3 moderators and one must be quite active. If we feel as if someone does not meet those standards, we will deny the request.
6. You are welcome to your first two characters of choice upon signing up, but you will be asked to wait one week before taking on your third character.
7. It’s encouraged to have the main RP link on your page. Greatly appreciated, actually. Activity tends to bring in attention and there are a lot of Tumblr RP’s out there. Let’s tell people what amazing family we belong to. 
8. Relationship pages are highly recommended but not required.
9. Where as small chats and GIF interactions are encouraged as well as solos, drabbles and photo posts this is still a paragraph focused role play. If a person is not active enough, they could be asked to let go of a role. However, we also encourage everyone to write on their own level. Not everyone wants to write 1000+ word responses. 
10. Keep post lengths in consideration remembering that there are some that check on smaller devices. Always post text posts as ‘Text’, and not ‘Link’. If you know how to do this and see someone struggling, lend a helping hand!
11. Always keep your ask boxes open. Anonymous is not a priority though it can be a good time. 
12. If you change your URL, make sure you let the main page know.
13. If you wish to change your Face Claim, let the main page know. Your Mod will have to approve it before you continue.
14. This is a fairly canon RP, so try and stay as true to the character as possible. It is not encouraged to bring someone down on the way they play their characters. We are in the marauder era, it is all purely speculation. No one will fit our standards of playing a character and if you are offended on how they are playing said character, speak to them about it. We love each other OOC and find this RP to be comfortable, please don’t ruin that.
15. Smut is highly encouraged. It is not required to be under a ‘Read More’ and if anyone feels offended, please just scroll past. With this being a mature role play smut, violence and other adult content will be present at all times.
16. Dramatic plots are highly encouraged, but be ready for the consequences of making a certain character a certain way. Stay true to the abusive backgrounds or the less than pleasant future. Try not to offend anyone, always ask permission when doing something too risque, and try to keep your RP partners as comfortable as possible. You’d love the same courtesy.
17. As much as we encourage multiple roles, we also hope you broaden your horizons with each. For example: Try not to have three Death Eaters and Three Marauders. In fact, we won’t allow more than 2 main canons to a person. Simply because roles such as James, Remus, Sirius and Peter are well wanted, as well as the Black Sisters and so forth. We want everyone to have a chance at the main roles. So, if you want a Malfoy, for example, maybe we can make an OC to help satisfy your need. We strive for balance here.

Adding a New Rule~ 

We encourage multiple characters here, it’s awesome to be so involved. However, we’re going to limit everyone to a MAXIMUM of 2 Major Canon’s. If they were officially in the series, it’s a major canon. We want everyone to have a shot at having a go for canon’s and to be well balanced. It’s only to be fair!

Something new which we’ll be requiring: Relationship Pages for each of your roles. Reason being, it’s hard for newcomers to join and not be too sure what’s going on. If each and every one of us made a page explaining past, present and predicted relationships it would help new people a lot. It’s also hard to sometimes sum up to people who ask the same questions over and over so this would be a simpler way to update people. You have time to add these onto your pages, but I would like everyone to have this done, this time next week. If you have any questions just ask. Also, make sure the link to our Main Page is on your profile, this has been a rule since the beginning.

Another addition: We’d like for every one of you to add Blood-Status to your pages. Be realistic with the blood ideology for your roles, but it’s up to you. This is now required as well and has the same deadline for next week.

3. No OOC drama. This is one big family. Love not war. If there is a major issue, bring it up with the moderators.
4. Be active- Let us know if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, this means three days or more in a row. If a role goes inactive for 3 days, a warning notice will be sent. On the 4th day, the role will be reopened for others who are interested. You may re-audition for the role if it is still open. However, we are free to reopen your role without notice because it gets tedious trying to contact people, you’ve been warned.
5. Multiple characters are fine, but no more than 3 to a person and if you’re not active enough we can decline your application. Also, we need to trust you play each character equally. Also, we ask that you wait at least a week to a month before taking another role. Just so we can appropriately gauge your ability.
6. Please link the main blog on your RP page. Also, it’s beneficial to tag posts because it advertises. Though, don’t be obnoxious and tag every single thing.
7. Small chats are encouraged, but let it be known that this is a paragraph focused role play. Everyone is required to paragraph and that is the main focus. If the moderator feels you are lacking, warning will be given. If the warning goes ignored, you may be asked to give up the role.
8. Keep posts fairly short as to not clog the dash. Many people update from phones and ipods, making it difficult to scroll for some. It’s merely a common courtesy.
9. Ask boxes must be activated. Anonymous is not required to be on. 
10. If you change your URL, make sure you let the main page know.
11. If you wish to change a Face Claim after having a role, it must be approved. Do not taking this decision upon yourself for it is rude.
12. There will be NO killing off Canon roles, but as for the OC’s, if someone leaves that was an OC their plot may end in death. 
13. Smut is highly encouraged. Pregnancies, not so much. However, if a role truly wishes for a pregnancy, it must be approved. Smut doesn’t have to be under a READ MORE. That is pure choice. We prefer to not use read more’s here.
14. Dramatic plots are encouraged, being creative as well! Have as much fun as possible and plot with as many people as possible. Just make sure if it involves a lot of people, just run it by the moderator.
